Twilight Picnic for the Parks will take place on Saturday, August 24, 2019 on the Great Lawn of the historic Hartwood Acres Mansion and will feature a private performance by one of the most important and innovative vocal groups in the history of popular music and winners of 10 Grammy Awards - The Manhattan Transfer. The luster of twilight will provide the natural backdrop for al fresco style cocktails and dinner that will elevate the notion of picnic fare using the finest local ingredients. The evening promises to blend summer chic with rustic sophistication to create a truly memorable experience in the park.
All proceeds from this even supply the Allegheny County Parks Foundation with the necessary funding to accomplish transformative projects so that our county parks retain their significance to the economic, social and environmental vitality of our shared region.
