In early 2025, we reached out to our newsletter subscribers for feedback on our annual Park ‘til Dark event. Our goal is to ensure that the event aligns with our mission, fosters meaningful engagement with park users, and provides value to a diverse range of visitors. Based on the feedback we received, it became clear that the event needed to evolve to better serve our community. This year, we are excited to introduce this special, public tree planting event, which was identified as the most impactful element of past Park ‘til Dark gatherings. This tree planting directly supports our core mission and offers a unique opportunity to engage with dedicated park users.
We invite you to the Park 'til Dark Tree Planting in South Park on May 17th.
At this free, family-friendly event, we'll be planting 100 trees near the sites of several of our park projects – like the Cascades, the Outdoor Classroom and the Paul Riis Trail.
Directly following the event, all volunteers and members of the public are invited to Pour at the Park, our annual fundraising event featuring local brews and bites.
Can't attend? You can still show your support and help us conserve, improve, and restore your nine county parks by making a donation today!
