Firefly Watch combines an annual summer evening ritual with scientific research. Are firefly populations growing or shrinking and what could lead to changes in their populations? With your help, we hope to learn about the geographic distribution of fireflies and what environmental factors impact their abundance.

Bumble Bee Watch is a collaborative effort to track and conserve North America’s bumble bees. Learn about bumble bees, their ecology, and ongoing conservation efforts. Help researchers determine the status and conservation needs of bumble bees and locate rare or endangered populations of bumble bees.
